Interlibrary Loan

Borrow from another library

Our library is connected to other libraries throughout the state and nation. If you can't find an item in this library, ask the library staff to help you get it from another library.

Patrons can request a book through interlibrary loan by:
Coming to the library
Calling the library at 964-2119
E-mailing the library at garnavillolibrary@gmail.com

Interlibrary loan materials will follow the check out policy of the library and may be renewed if the lending library agrees.

Our library buys books and materials that we think are most wanted by our community. Due to limited resources and space we can’t purchase everything that is published, but we can usually borrow it from another library. This service is called interlibrary loan. Our library is part of a vast network of participating libraries that are willing to loan out materials to other libraries.

The Garnavillo Public Library reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who orders materials that are not picked up or who do not return the borrowed materials within the time allowed.
