News from the Garnavillo Public Library

 

             Beginning March 1 the Garnavillo Public Library will be showcasing the art work of the junior high students. There will be many different types of art work and you will be able to see the style and imagination that goes into each piece.  Be sure to come and see the art work of the middle school students which will be on display through the month of March.      

New Titles for Your Enjoyment

            The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines—In Magnolia Story, fans will be able to join the Gaines behind the scenes to discover what their life together really looks like and though home improvement might be their day job, you will  learn how their love of home and family inspires everything that they do.

            A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron—Heartwarming and often laugh-out-loud funny is not only the emotional and hilarious story of a dog’s many lives, but also a dog’s-eye commentary on human relationships and the unbreakable bonds between man and his best friend.

            Expecting to Die by Lisa Jackson—Another body is found and another.  As the nightmare strikes close to home. Pescoli races to find the terror lingering in the darkness, where there are too many places to hide and countless places to die.

                The library is open Tuesday 10 AM to 4 PM, Wednesday 10 AM to 8 PM, Thursday 3 PM to 8 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM and can be reached by phone at 964-2119 or email at webmaster@garnavillo.lib.ia.us.  Be sure to visit the library’s website and Facebook page.  The library is a place to meet friends, read a good book, learn new things and get questions answered!
